Greg Beeton

Greg graduated in Agriculture but more recently has developed his career in business management and development following an MBA.

Greg joined the team in 2004 having worked in Europe and Africa in roles utilising his business skills in market research, policy planning and analysis, private sector and enterprise development, business restructuring, economic forecasting, finance provision, business support, supply chain analysis and new product development. He also has experience in agricultural production systems, crop irrigation, livestock and fodder production, milk production and processing.

He has delivered strategic planning workshops in policy development and supply chain integration and is experienced in project management across a range of disciplines. Greg is also qualified in Marketing and Project Management and is now concentrating in the sectors of enterprise development and sustainable livelihoods.

Sharon has over 15 years experience in the contractual and financial management of long and short-term projects involving multidisciplinary and multicultural teams. As Finance and Contracts Manager for PAC she is responsible for marketing initiatives and the development/implementation of company financial and contractual business systems that influence business success.

Coming from a background of product development consultancy for global brand-name firms, via project work in slum redevelopment, relief shelter, and wind turbine design, Steven has focused his work on the realisation of clean energy products and services in developing country contexts. His skills combine market analysis, engineering, system design and project management with research into Sustainable Development economics, policy and dynamics. Steven is currently managing and providing technical input into assignments in countries around Latin America, Africa and South Asia, and has recently led studies on behalf of FAO, UNDP, World Bank, the EU Presidency and DFID amongst others.

Sophie has a background in project management and workflow analysis having spent over six years in commercial consultancy, deploying Internet-based environmental and land information management solutions at an enterprise level. Previous to this Sophie was in publishing, of both mainstream educational material and technical reports, and has skills in technical writing. Sophie joins PAC as a project development coordinator with the role of identifying and responding to fee-generating research and consultancy opportunities. She is responsible for developing and preparing expressions of interest and proposals for consultancy work in the international development sector.

Ewan joined PAC in November 2009 as an Energy Consultant. He manages projects on all aspects of household energy access and poverty reduction, for clients including DFID, World Bank and the EU, and in locations including Kenya, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Rwanda and Ethiopia. Ewan has an engineering background, including a PhD from KwaZulu-Natal University in South Africa, and has worked on engineering and development projects for more than 10 years including Australia, Central Asia, Turkey, Southern Africa and Haiti.


 

 

Drew Corbyn

Junior Energy Consultant

Drew graduated in Engineering and has experience as a project manager. He has worked in the Philippines and Nepal with a number of renewable energy technologies including small wind turbines, solar PV, microhydro and hydraulic ram pumps.Drew joins PAC as a Junior Energy Consultant with the role of delivering technical consultancy in the international energy and development sector.
